Joining the Steve Leung Design Group back in 2017, Mai Chongchaiyo was promoted just a year later to lead a talented multicultural team of designers to create imaginative, experience-oriented designs — covering show flats, hotels, serviced apartments, restaurants and bars — which exquisitely integrates his global vision with a deep sensitivity for local context and cultures. The passionate visionary was accredited the “40 Under 40 Awards” of the A&D Awards in 2021, in recognition of his talents and outstanding performance. Prior to joining SLD, he had previously worked in a broad range of established international design firms, including EDG Interior Architecture + Design, Wimberly Interior (WATG) and Steelman Partners.
