The panel comprises several industry influencers who bring vast experience from their respective industries. Each judge’s area of expertise offers a unique take on the judging criteria, which will contribute to the overall judging criteria such as creativity, design concept, space planning and design statement.
Credible Judges
Judges are selected based on their experience, credibility and leadership role in their respective industries. All judges are decision makers of their own design in business – be it hospitality, beverage, retail, service or product – and they keep abreast of consumers’ wants and needs in the market.
Accountability
All judging is implemented and recorded to demonstrate accountability. We take stringent and painful measures to ensure a proper outcome of the judging process. Nothing is being taken for granted as we view DOTY as an important ingredient in the design industry.
Authentic Judging
The judging process is done in a professional manner through discussions and a point system at an official venue. All inputs from the judging will enable us to improve the scoring system to reflect a better and fairer result.

DOTY is a media-based design industry award that appeals to consumers nationwide and internationally. It sets a precedent to recognise outstanding designers in the field of design.
